Jill Pollack

You may read Jill’s official bio on the StoryStudio Chicago website, but rest assured, she is the epitome of trying-to-be-an-artist-while-having-a-day-job. Course it doesn’t hurt that her day job is running StoryStudio!

When she is not blogging or badgering students, Jill is hard at work on a novel about a young woman who is not quite a math genius who endures a summer of change. Jill is also working on several short stories that get pulled out of the drawer from time to time, and she hacks away diligently every few weeks only to close the drawer once again.

You can hear Jill read one of her newest short pieces, “The Hairy-Toed Angel,” on Sunday, November 18 as part of the Sunday Salon Series.
