That’s right: it’s National Novel Writing Month!  In case you’re new to NaNoWriMo, it’s a month-long event encouraging participants to write a 50,000 word novel.  If you hit the word count, you win a free NaNoWriMo T-shirt.  Sign up at www.nanowrimo.org.

Once you’re signed up, you’re going to need help getting those words out.  50,000 is nothing to laugh at.  That’s where we come in.  StoryStudio is hosting a novel writing extravaganza on Saturday, November 20, to help NaNoWriMo participants get their words out. 

That Saturday, StoryStudio will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.  For $25 ($20 for members), you’ll get access to the space, snacks and beverages to keep your blood sugar up, as well as manuscript reviews and exercises to help you crank those words out.  We’ll also have a board where NaNoWriMo participants can post their word counts – anyone who reaches the 50,000 will be entered to win a StoryStudio gift certificate. 

Use this as the chance to complete a novel!  You can always revise later…
