Eating Animals.

If you haven’t had a chance to take advantage of the little engine that could, better known as the Chicago Public Libraries, you need to take a moment and see about scheduling some time to meet up with some friends, go to dinner and then head over to the Harold Washington Library Cindy Pritzker Auditorium to listen to Jonathan Safran Foer read from his new work, Eating Animals. This event takes place on Wed., Nov. 18 at 6 p.m.

If you can’t manage Wednesday, begin the weekend early and head over to the Pritzker to catch Audrey Niffenegger Presented by Writers on the Record with Victoria Lautman read from her new work, Thursday, Nov 19 at 6 p.m.  Audrey was featured in the new Poets and Writers magazine which featured a wonderful look at her life as a writer after the success of The Time Traveler’s Wife and the new found buzz regarding her new novel Her Fearful Symmetry

If you make it out to either reading, please feel free to review them and share your thoughts with fellow readers on Cooler!
