This Saturday, January 31st StoryStudio Chicago will be hosting a Write-a-Thon. Our doors will be open from 9AM to 9PM. What makes our Write-a-Thons so amazing, is that they provide that “get away” from everything in your life that may be inhibiting you from writing, or being productive on your current project or idea. We can all find a vast array of distractions, but here is an event that you can finally dedicate hours upon hours of time to just your writing.

In past Write-a-Thons I have found it really useful to come with something you have been working on, and also something you may want to get started on but have needed the time and space to project ideas and brainstorm. It’s also a really great way to meet up with that other writer/artist friend who you’ve been meaning to see for weeks but can’t manage to keep plans together – because you’ve both been trying to work on your writing! Why not come together?
