Have you ever read Fahrenheit 451? Well, now is your chance!

As part of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read initiative, Columbia College is hosting events focused on Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451. For this event the entire book will be read in a day by students, faculty, staff, and friends of Columbia College
Take part on Tuesday, April 28th from 9-5. If you need more information 312-369-7153. 

If you have some time to support a local literary magazine, stop by Women and Children First in Andersonville on Wednesday, April 29 at 7PM for Ghost Factory reading and Release party.  Meet the editor and a handful of contributing writers from issue #3. 

Then finally, round out your week with a free reading at the University of Chicago with the series, Poem Present.  You can celebrate the last few days of National Poetry Month with a reading from poet Emily Wilson from her work, Micrographia.  This reading will be at 4:30 on Thursday, April 30
