You never know who you’ll run into or what project you’ll undertake here at the studio. The other day for instance, Jona, Paige and I all took tooks trying to break open our filing cabinet drawer because yours truly managed to lose the key. (In my defense, I didn’t really lose the key; just misplaced it.)
Today for instance I’ve got Dawn Upshaw playing loudly, everything out of the closet so I can get to the boxes all the way in the back, and then there’s Kurt and Carol running around hanging new photographs.
Many of you have already seen Carol’s great black and white photo essay of her mother moving into a new home in Ohio. And if you come to our winter kick-off “Coffee and Conversation” on Wednesday, January 9, you’ll get a good look at Kurt Kramer’s fantastic character portraits. (We’ll post more information on Kurt and the photos in the coming weeks.) As I sit here and type, he’s layout out 11 images to hang in the hallway, a couple pretty large location shots, and then a couple more intense portraits for the back classroom.
For those of you in class this winter, get ready for some great inspiration!
