Many of you know Lee as the instructor of the Fiction II class here at StoryStudio. She’s great leading the class discussion but she’s also a wonderful writer in her own right.

We just found out that Lee has two items to crow about: Her short story, ”Animal Rights” will be published in the online journal The Summerset Review, on June 15. (Don’t worry, we’ll post a direct link.) And in other big news, she just found out that her story ”Same Day Siblings” was named a finalist for the Gulf Coast Fiction Prize. She’ll find out in a couple months if she wins that one.

Lee’s got some great mojo these days. Congratulations!!!
