We got a really nice write up today in CenterStage Chicago. Jump-start your brain with these writing outlets</a>. Written by Alicia Eler, it’s a nice rundown of places in town to take writing classes.

I know it’s like we’re tooting our our own horn, but hey, we writers should toot more often!

        <p>Join us for the Writers Read Showcase featuring StoryStudio writers who will read their work while you sit back, soak up and enjoy. Come early for dinner or show up just in time to grab a glass and settle in for some fine entertainment brought to you by your fellow students.
</p>

This reading is part of the citywide Pilcrow Literary Festival.
</p>
<p>
Reading and cavorting will take place at 42 Degrees N. Latitude is located at 4500 N. Lincoln in the Lincoln Square neighborhood, where we’ll be gathering at 7:00 and starting the program at 7:30.

StoryStudio will open its doors from 9am to 9pm on Saturday, January 31, 2009, for all your writing needs.&nbsp; Struggling with a short story?&nbsp; Trudging through a novel?&nbsp; Come for an hour, an afternoon, or the whole day to find the encouragement and space you need to get writing.&nbsp; We&#8217;ll have snacks, drinks, and lots of comfortable corners in which to curl up and write!
