You may have noticed our artistic swirls of metal gracing the walls the past few weeks. And as much as this homemade ”making art out of lemons” has been amusing, we’re relieved to have actual art back in the hallway and the classrooms to get us imagining again, photographs of familiar places which, by some re-imaging, are now unfamiliar.

Kevin Swallow (husband of SSC student and teacher Marianna Swallow) is busy hanging his photographs. It’s Saturday morning and XRT Flashback has been treating us to Todd Rundgren (where is he now?!) and the Beatles and all the other musical influences of 1968.

Next time you’re in the studio, take a few minutes to think about this new set of photographs. We’ll even have comment cards so you can leave a note for Kevin. Plus, in the next few days, we’ll post more information on him and his artwork.
